Super Absorbent Beach Towels for Beach fun, Poolside Games
Many people are thinking spring, especially those who have weathered such a long, snowy winter. Spring break for thousands of students is just around the corner and they are saying ‘let’s go to the beach’ and that also means swimsuits and beach towels.
Beach towels are very versatile and can be used for a number of things and not only drying off after jumping in the ocean or pool. A large beach towel could be used as a tablecloth when children are creating crafts at the kitchen table. The towel will catch water from a paint brush water cup, paint drips, glue drops and glitter that spills which would be hard to clean up from a regular table but with a towel, could be shaken out and cleaned out.
Other uses for beach towels could be for picnics, blankets for naps, especially for small children and as a ‘lap blanket’ when sitting and watching television. Many of the velour beach towels are thick and extra absorbent to soak up all the water from a dip in the pool or sea. They make great ‘wraps’ or cover-ups after drying off when your suit is still a little damp and you want to walk around but don’t want to change your clothes.
Some of the larger beach towels come with checkers or large tic-tac-toe pieces to play games on the beach towels allowing people to pass the time away while waiting to go back in the water after a snack or lunch. If the pieces become lost or separated from the beach towel, they could always use large rocks, sea shells, plastic canister lids or small children’s beach toys for game pieces.
Many small children like to pick out a beach towel with their favorite character on it, such as SpongeBob Square Pants, Dora the Explorer or Scooby Doo and take it to school with them for nap time. The long rectangular shape of the beach towel is perfect for laying over the child on their nap cots and the child will feel cozy and cared for under one of their favorite characters.
