Walt Disney Characters Come to Life all Around the World for He Believed in Magic
Everybody likes Disney Characters and since Disney is no longer simply cartoons, there is something for everyone from Pirates of the Caribbean to talking toys, a singing teenager and witches from outer space trying to get back to a mysterious mountain. Then there are the gang of old standby cartoons of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Donald Duck, Daphne Duck and Goofy.
Even if a person hasn’t visited Disney Land or Disney World, everyone knows the Disney characters and the story of Walt Disney, a young man from mid-Missouri with a big imagination. Although Walt was born in Chicago, his family moved to Marceline, Missouri when he was five and this is where he called home. There is a large museum dedicated to the man and his wonderful imagination, the one that brought us animation mixed with live action such as Mary Poppins and before that, Song of the South.
Walt Disney once said of mixing live action with animation that he was concerned that an audience would not be able to sit through that much animation at one time – for the longer movies, but how wrong he was. Movies like Cinderella, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Beauty and the Beast are among America’s favorite films.
There are so many different ways Walt Disney has left the world with his love of all things magical and fun. Giving someone personalized Disney gifts is a great way to show them they are loved and appreciated, no matter what the occasion.
There are Disney stores in just about every mall across the country and everyone has heard of the famous creator and his infamous mouse. There is the Disney Channel for kids, pre-teens and teenagers with various programming from cartoons to Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers to the ABC television network for more mainstream programming like Desperate Housewives, Lost and Grey’s Anatomy. There is also Disney radio stations scattered throughout the nation that play mostly teenage pop music from the stars of the television and movie shows.
